We are excited to announce IM SO NEWARK in Partnership with the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs is hosting the 2nd Annual FREE Community Fun Day Event. In tradition, we are bringing the community together as the vision continues in honor of Rev. Ronald B. Christian in the South Ward, Saturday July 9th, 2022 at the historic Weequahic Park, 10am – 6pm est.
Join us for a day of fun and enjoyment across from the Rev. Ronald B. Christian Sports Complex. All you need to bring is good vibes in the spirit of reconnecting with the community! We will have Bounce Houses, Food, and House Music by DJ Vern. There will be guest speakers, dignitaries and artists of Newark to bless the microphone in celebration of comradery amongst our community members.
